INSURED AND ACCREDITED
At Subvision Surveys Ltd, we use the latest CCTV equipment to provide a full and comprehensive service. Both pan and tilt crawler units and push-rod systems are used, depending on specific site and client requirements.
A CCTV drainage survey enables a full and comprehensive inspection of a drainage/sewer system. This service is vital to assess whether specific pipe routes are suitable for re-use on a future development or project, or to identify a specific fault, defect or obstruction within the drainage system.
A high quality video recorded to DVD or USB memory stick of the surveyed pipe routes is issued to the client, or sent electronically in MPEG formats. A written report is also produced in-house and issued to the client, using the latest Wincan data software by our specialist CCTV assessor who is fully trained and certified by WTI. The report, together with the recorded information, details all relevant information, including defects and obstructions etc, and provides recommendations and advice to the client about the surveyed drainage system. All written reports issued to the client, and produced by Subvision Surveys, pass rigorous quality control procedures prior to issue.
High Pressure Water Jetting
High pressure water jetting is used in conjunction with a CCTV survey, and Subvision Surveys would always recommend that the drainage system is cleansed thoroughly prior to undertaking a CCTV survey. Fully cleaning the system prior to undertaking a CCTV survey will provide the client with a more comprehensive and accurate CCTV survey of the drainage system.

Pre & Post Condition Surveys
This service offered by Subvision Surveys consists of two condition surveys, of existing tunnels or sewer systems that may encroach into an active construction site, where various vibration/piling work might be undertaken by the client. The initial survey is undertaken using a crawler camera unit or by man entry method to inspect, assess and record all existing defects prior to the construction work commencing. The post condition survey is completed at a later date after the piling work has been completed, to reassess and inspect the sewer or tunnel to confirm that no damage has been caused by the construction work.
Our team carries out surveys throughout London, Kent, Essex and across the UK!
At Subvision Surveys our team of surveyors are fully WTI trained in pipe and brick sewer classification coding, and our team are fully confined space trained. CCTV crawler systems can only be utilised in undertaking an accurate survey up to certain size pipes. Water culverts often have large amounts of rubble and debris laying in the invert, making an uneven surface for a camera to travel along, so the solution is often to undertake a man entry survey. If a condition survey is required of a watercourse culvert, or of a man entry size pipe or brick trunk sewer, Subvision Surveys can provide that service with our team of confined space trained and WTI trained surveyors.
