Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) has become a significant concern for building owners and managers, particularly in schools, hospitals, and public buildings constructed between the 1950s and 1990s. We use ferro scanning and ground penetrating radar to identify material composition and reinforcement patterns consistent with RAAC panels, supporting visual inspection findings with non-intrusive scanning data. This is combined with measured building surveys where accurate plank layouts and dimensions are needed, giving structural engineers a clear record to work from when assessing affected areas.
