Laser Surveyors Essex

Our team of laser surveyors uses 3D laser scanning technology to capture highly accurate spatial data of buildings and structures across Essex. By recording millions of data points as a point cloud, we’re able to produce precise measured surveys of complex or hard-to-access buildings, giving architects, engineers, and contractors a reliable foundation to design and build from.

Our Laser Scanning Process

Our surveyors use laser scanning equipment to capture detailed, accurate spatial data across a building or site, recording complex geometry, features, and dimensions that would be difficult to measure using traditional methods alone. The resulting point cloud data is then processed into measured drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections, giving a true and accurate record of the surveyed structure.

Laser Surveying Across Essex

Our team of laser surveyors works across Essex and nationwide, supporting architects, engineers, and contractors on projects ranging from single buildings to complex commercial sites. With more than 3 decades of surveying experience, SSIP and ISO accredited processes, and Safe Contractor, CHAS, and Constructionline approved working methods, we deliver accurate laser survey data at competitive rates, suited to design, planning, and construction projects of all sizes. Need site levels and boundaries too? Our topographical surveys in Essex can be carried out on the same visit.

Laser Survey FAQs

3D laser scanning is a surveying technique that captures millions of accurate data points, known as a point cloud, to record the precise shape, dimensions, and features of a building or structure.

Laser scanning provides highly accurate data, capturing complex geometry and detail that can be difficult to measure using traditional methods, making it well suited to detailed measured surveys.

Point cloud data is processed into measured drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections, giving architects and engineers an accurate record to design and build from.

Yes. Laser scanning is particularly effective on complex or hard-to-access buildings, capturing detailed spatial data without the need for extensive manual measurement.

Yes. Our team of laser surveyors works across Essex and nationwide, supporting projects ranging from individual buildings to larger commercial sites.

Yes. Laser scanning is often combined with other survey techniques, such as topographical surveys, to provide a complete and accurate picture of a building and its surrounding site.

We process point cloud data into measured drawings and reports suited to onward use in architectural and engineering design, tailored to the requirements of each project.
